The Yellow Lotus came to me during a season of unraveling, a time when everything felt too heavy, too loud, too much.
I didn’t go looking for it. It arrived on its own, like a whisper, like a soft hand on my heart.
It showed up in meditation, in dreams, in moments when I needed grounding the most.
It became a symbol of my healing, my clarity, and my return to myself.
The Yellow Lotus taught me that even in the murkiest waters, something beautiful can rise.
The Moment I Chose Myself
My healing didn’t happen all at once. It happened in tiny, brave moments, choosing to listen to my intuition, choosing to show myself compassion, choosing to believe I deserved more than pain.
I began meditating.
I began learning.
I began loving myself in ways I never had before.
And slowly, I began to rise. That rising became the Yellow Lotus.
Why the Yellow Lotus Is About Love
I believe the greatest love comes from within. To live this beautiful life you are meant to live, you need to first love yourself. When we live life though our hearts, we can heal ourselves and change the world.
It showed me that:
• self‑love is the foundation
• love is the answer to everything
• love is what heals
• love is what frees
• love is what brings you home to yourself
This became my purpose, to help others feel the love they forgot they deserved.
Crystals and Energy
Crystals became a steady companion during my healing.
Their energy grounded me, soothed me, and helped me reconnect to my intuition.
They became part of my meditations, my rituals, my art, and my becoming.
Crystals are woven into my work because they were woven into my healing.
Art Therapy and the Power of Being Seen
Art changed my life.
It gave me a place to put the pain, the hope, the truth, the messages I didn’t yet have words for. It helped me feel seen when I felt invisible.
Even now, every piece I create holds hidden messages, little truths, blessings, and symbols woven into the layers.
Why the Yellow Lotus Evolved Into The Beautiful Shell
For a long time, I hid behind the name Yellow Lotus, it felt safer, softer, less exposed.
A medium once told me something that cracked me open.
“You don’t feel seen," and "It's ok to be spiritual." They were right.
I had a voice meant to soothe. A presence meant to guide. A story meant to be shared. A spiritual connection meant to flow through my hands and words. A gift meant to be heard.
The Beautiful Shell is me choosing to be seen.
It is me stepping out from behind the symbol and letting my own voice, my own art,
my own truth be the center.
The Yellow Lotus didn’t disappear, it transformed.
It became the spiritual root of everything I create.
What the Yellow Lotus Means Now
Today, the Yellow Lotus is:
• the foundation of my meditations
• the energy behind my intuitive art
• the symbol of my healing
• the reminder that love is the answer
• the reason I help others rise from their own darkness
It is the beginning of my story, and the heartbeat of The Beautiful Shell.
Today, the Yellow Lotus also lives on as Yellow Lotus Studio, the home for my meditations, tongue drum recordings, woden flute pieces, and the sound-based healing work that grew from my own blessing.

Long before I understood that I was an intuitive artist, my hands simply craved the feeling of paint on a canvas. I began my journey exactly where many do with paint-by-number. These pieces were my training ground. While they aren't my original concepts, they are a sacred part of my timeline, discovery, and healing.
